Description:

By William Jukes (of 66, Kensington Rd., Coventry, watchtool maker) to William Bramwell Booth (of London, General of the Salvation Army) of 66, Kensington Rd. (freehold, subject to building covenants) with vacant possession, for £650 (paying £65 deposit), the title commencing 14th. Sept., 1908, for completion by 31st. Oct., 1927. Copy of covenants from 1908 deed:- firstly, that the building-line be 6 ft. from the roadway (the fences consisting of 2 ft. dwarf walls with 5 ft. palings as a maximum height); secondly, that a 5 ft. 6 in. fence be erected along the eastern boundary with 4 ft. 6 in. palisade-fence for such of that boundary as may be in front of the building-line; thirdly, that no intoxicating liquor be sold or noxious business conducted on the premises; and fourthly, that the purchaser bear half the expense of upkeep for a passage abutting onto this site (but that the person causing damage to the services shall pay for such disruption).
