Whereby, having recited:- firstly, a 17th. Oct., 1931 deed whereby Joseph and Annie Gertrude Phillips agreed to sell to Alfred Burton Caldicott (in 1932 described as of 21, Greville Rd., Warwick, carpenter) and John Golding a plot on the west side of the Birmingham Rd. in Kenilworth pa. (having a frontage of 45yd. and covering 2,168 sq. yd.) for 2/6 per sq. yd.; and secondly, that Caldicott contemplates erecting houses thereon and has applied to William Louis James Orton (of Coventry, solicitor) to help complete his intention: therefore, firstly, Caldicott covenants with Orton to (a) pay him £200 plus £6% p.a. interest on 25th. Dec.[, 1932], (b) repay further advances at the same rate from the days that such advances may be made, and (c) repay quarterly at the same rate any principal undischarged after 25th. Dec. [,1932]; and secondly, Caldicott charges the 1931 contract with the moneys hereby intended to be secured.
