Description:

Whereby, having recited:- firstly, that John Austin (late of 29, East St., Coventry) owned an estate at his death subject to covenants as below, and died on 31st. May, 1937 intestate (administration being granted on 18th. June, 1937 to William Edward Austin (in 1951 of 35, Alfall Rd., Coventry, grocer's salesman)); secondly, that W. E. Austin has agreed to sale for £200; and thirdly, that the vendor has not made any other arrangement for the land: therefore, in consideration of £200; firstly, W. E. Austin conveys to the Hillman Motor Co. (described as in 353/38/2) (a) a plot of land at Pinley in the parish of St. Michael, Coventry, measuring 927 sq. yd. (as shown edged pink on a plan annexed to a 7th. Oct., 1922 conveyance (see 353/38/2) which gave right of common to its first and second parties), and (b) a plot shown in brown on the same plan (with similar right) described in 1922 as a road but now used for allotments; secondly, W. E. Austin acknowledges Hillmans' right to production of his father's letters of administration; and thirdly, the conveyance is declared not to be part of a larger transaction exceeding £500 in value.
