Description:

(Through William Martin Groom of 24, Euston Sq., London, N.W.l, District Estate Agent) and Wiggins & Co. (Hammersmith) Ltd. of 239, King St., Hammersmith, London, W.6 (freeholders of 275/279, the Vale, Acton, London, W.3) whereby, firstly, the company will permit the licensees to enjoy first-scheduled privileges; secondly, the licensees will pay £1 yearly from 25th. Dec., 1933 therefor; thirdly, the licensees will observe the second schedule's provisions; fourthly, Wiggins & Co. shall indemnify the railway company against actions which shall be consequent upon works executed because of this agreement; fifthly, thirty days' notice will be needed to terminate the agreement; and sixthly, the licensees will pay 5/- stamp-duty. First schedule: permission for the licensees (a) to erect and use named fitments; (b) to enjoy a right of way over the L.M.S.R.'s private roadway to a siding [shown as "A" on a plan not with this document]; (c) to make openings in premises overlooking the railway company's property between places marked "X" on the said plan. Second schedule: the licensees will (a) maintain Schedule 1 clause (a)'s fitments; (b) remove a notice-board (at point "B", according to the plan) and provide another of a plan already specified; (c) maintain the roadway to the fitments; (d) remove their fitments when the agreement ends; (e) give due notification of any work intended upon the fitments or notice-board; (f) make good damage resulting from such work; (g) indemnify the L.M.S.R. for expenses arising from these privileges, with the Company Engineer's certificate as final evidence of cost; and (h) enjoy light and air only with the railway company's consent.
