Description:

Whereby, firstly, John Ward (of 82, Alderman's Green Rd., Coventry) agrees to act as secretary for Charles Stringer's Sons & Co. Ltd. (of Stephen St., Coventry) from 9th. Aug., 1937, with six months' notice able to be given by either side; secondly, Ward will devote all his business-hours to the company; thirdly, the secretary will be especially responsible for keeping proper accounts and other legally-requested registers; fourthly, the secretary's salary will be £3/10/- per week; fifthly, Ward will have two weeks' holiday every year, taken as the directors choose; and sixthly, the secretary will not entice business away from the firm.
