This section includes recordings of miscellaneous Performances, Workshops, Talks and Discussions found with the Birmingham and Midland Folk Centre tapes.

 

They include a performance of 'Viva Chile!' by Folk Club members and Chilean music from the group Inti Illimani; a recording of a performance by Alistair Anderson at the Grey Cock Folk Club, and a performance by a group from Dorset; part of a radio programme by A.L.Lloyd; part of a discussion with George Thompson about political theatre; story/poems from Yorkshire; a lecture by Charles Parker on the ballad; vocal workshops by the singer Frankie Armstrong; and a talk for radio by Ewan MacColl on the popular poetry and song of the Elizabethan age.

 

Several of the recordings have made over other programmes or performances, and, in some cases, the information given on the box is not applicable to the recording on the tape.

 

In one case no tape was found with the box.
