The following merchant ships' agreements, crew lists and official log books relating to ships registered at Manchester from the opening of the Ship Canal in 1894 to 1913, were transferred from the records of the Registry of Shipping and Seamen, stored at the Intermediate Repository of the Public Record Office, Hayes, in April and May 1971.
