Catalogue description The crowning of The Hayfield May Queen, 1930-31. Mrs. Bedder's sister is a flower-girl seated on the right of the bottom step, her grandmother's head is ¾ visible on the extreme right of the first row of spectators. There is a photographer's stamp on the back, but too feint to be read.
