a) asking for an interview on her travels in Northern Europe (with pencil note by Mrs Tweedie that she "never saw him") N.d. [c.1898]

 

b) Thanking her for the "interview" and suggesting an interview for the magazine Woman; mentioning articles already being written on John Oliver Hobbes (pseudonym of Pearl Mary Theresa Craigie (1867-1906) novelist and drama critic) and Lady [Beatrix Jane] Cadogan, wife of 5th Earl Cadogan and daughter of 2nd Earl of Craven (died 1907). Postscript mentions interview with George Tinworth, modeller (1843-1913) which appeared in Black and White (1891-1910, afterwards merging with The Sphere). 7 February 1898
