The records in this list are from the Pearson Estate in Hoxton, Kingsland, the Liberty of Norton Folgate and Hoo, Kent. They were deposited through the British Records Association in various deposits and by Messrs Janson Cobb and Pearson.

 

The records have been listed deed by deed in a chronological order.

 

The properties are marked on Chassereau's map (1745) as owned by Ingram.

 

Deeds Nos. D/F/PEA/1-86 to the whole estate; Nos. D/F/PEA/87-109 to the property between Hoxton Street and Kingsland Road

Administrative / biographical background:

The Pearson interest began in 1783 when the estate of Thomas Ingrams was purchased. The Hoxton estate was sold in 1920 and the proceeds divided amongst the heirs.
