The F.W.A. took over the administration of the Polish Relief Fund and the British Fund for Warsaw in July 1946. It set up the Polish Relief Sub-Committee to deal with this work. The Polish Relief and the British War Refugees Sub-Committees amalgamated on 7 November 1946 to form the Joint Refugee Sub-Committee. |
