Memorandum (1863) of agreement between the Raja of Sandur and John Macartney appointing Macartney to administer the State for ten years, with endorsement (1871) appointing Macartney for further term of ten years from expiration of the first; also letter (1885) from the Raja to Macartney concerning the liquidation of debt of Rs 40,000 apparently owed by the State to Macartney.
