--Acknowledging his letters, and sending, as desired, the orders concerning the licences for the "bocoy," * and also a patent from his Highness for compelling the inhabitants of Vinberge, Guante [Ghent], Alloste and Deremonde to furnish carts. Has had the patent made out in his honour's name, in order to create more respect and insure obedience in the future.
