Description:

--Upon the request of the Governor of Diepe, two hundred men were made ready to have been sent him, but afterwards, upon his countermand, were again stayed. Since being advertised what evil is wrought in the hearts of the townsmen by a grey friar's preaching, it were not amiss that a band of two hundred men were placed there. So that his Lordship may do well to move his Majesty in it, as a requisite thing for his service.
