Maryanna's health is improving due to the good nursing of her mother who would have written earlier to Miss Turvile but for her attendance at the bedside. Maryanna sends good wishes and hopes to be able to accept the Turviles invitation when she is better. Theresa and Fanny at Spetisbury are both well, the former having just recovered from jaundice.
