Mr. Saunders pleased with FFT's last letter. News of neighbours and marriages in the Catholic circle. Mr. Charles Berrington to be consecrated coadjutor to Mr. Thomas Talbot. General meeting of Catholic gentry to petition the government for a repeal of the penal laws. Illegality of the marriage of the Prince of Wales and Mrs. Fitzherbert. Regrets that FFT could not grant his petition but will ask no more.
