Description:

Charles Turvile, Grays Inn to FFT., Bosworth Hall

About the Tasburgh mortgage. Also "Dr. Poynter has received letters from Rome requesting him to endeavour to get this government to stipulate for the restoration of the Papal dominions. He has seen the ministers here on the subject and they referred him to Lord Castlereagh. Dr. Poynter is consequently gone to Paris. Dr. Milner is also gone to Paris but whether to stay there or only on his way to Rome I do not know". Although Charles has applied to Cadell and Davies [printers and publishers] he has not been able to obtain The General African for George: his sisters prefer Bryanstone Street to Stanhope Street.
