Edward Blount, Bellamore, Staffs, to FFT., Bosworth Hall

 

Saying that he is off to Mapledurham the following day, that he has £150 at his bank in Lichfield and a similar sum to be paid in on the 15th; he will follow FFT's instructions regarding repayment and thanks him for the loan of £300. Mrs. Blount is depressed by the death of her friend Mrs. Wheble. He adds a letter on the sheet to George Turvile, regretting that he has no greyhound whelp available, and hoping that he will see George in London where "such a congregation of noble folks as the Emperor of Austria King of Prussia Genls. Blucher and ..... Princess of Oldenburg Duke of Wellington etc must excite your curiosity".
