Re tour of Scotland - prayers at the Island of Lismore where Bishop Chessun lives with some novices. Astonished by Staffa and Fingals Cave. Brought down enough ice from Ben Nevis to ice the wine "which astonished the party". Request for more money. Lord Dormer in the party. Asks him if he has seen the comet under the square of the Great Bear.
