Concerning his efforts to find a suitable emigre priest for the Bosworth congregation but not a "Cure de Campagne". He has seen the head of the French chapel, and also understands that Lady Blount's chaplain will no longer be required. He adds that John has recovered from the vaccine, and that the two hampers of wine have been dispatched from the Windmill Inn by the Harborough wagon and should reach Market Harborough the following day. He notes at the end of the letter that Mr. Standish is dead.
