Louisa Turvile, Abbey School [Winchester] to FFT, her father, Cheltenham

 

Pleased that her mother has got over the winter well and thinks that their return to Bosworth will do her good. Says she will give his advice to the young lady he mentioned. She has promised Louisa to apply herself to her education and is especially assiduous in walking with a back stick. Lord and Lady Clifford sent for her en route to town. She thanks her father and sister Eliza for their presents. She has begun to learn velvet painting which she likes very much.
