Has bought himself a flannel waistcoat to wear for times of exercise in the cold Chapel. It now has the windows in and should be finished by Candlemas [Feb.]. Hopes to improve his French by translating some Montesquieu. Goes skating on the drains. Mrs. Iveson has had her tenth child.
