Praising the virtues of Lyons as a place to live. Nancy in Lorraine is also attractive. Possible to live in a country house nr. Lyons for £600 p.a. or £300 p.a. and more in town. Saddle horses should be brought from England but hardy carriage horses may be bought locally. English servants abroad are a nuisance, so only bring one maid and one man.
