Description:

John Greenway, Gloucester to FFT, Bosworth Hall

Pleading for his financial assistance on behalf of Miss Barrett whose father has given up the Post Office and cannot be allowed to take it on herself because of her religion. She was to live with an old Protestant lady who has since turned against her as a Catholic because of the Irish Rebellion. Miss B. is a trained milliner and has been advised to go to Abergavenny to start a business there but lacks the necessary capital. She would also be prepared to accept a situation in a Catholic household and Mr. Greenway asks if FFT can accommodate her.
