C. Browne-Mostyn, Crick Howell [Mon] to FFT. Bosworth

 

Has been laid up for ten days after putting his foot through a bad garrett floor. Hopes the Turviles are well. His mother had written to him saying that J[ohn] Talbot was well apart from a flaw in his memory. His daughter Catherine is in Yorkshire. Charles his son, in town for Miss Butler's birthday. Wants his mother to sell Cleveley in order to provide for him. He honours Pitt for his heavy taxes saying that he is willing to sacrifice his popularity for the sake of the country - such measures must be taken.
