Congratulations on the increase of his family. News of the English colony at Nancy and at Rome. Civil war begun at Liege, the Prussians have left the country and the inhabitants have taken the citadel, refusing to admit the Bishop. "Young Bath's" exploits in the army and in pursuit of Miss Wynne with £30,000 p.a. Describes a meeting of some thousands of detachments of the National Guards of Lorraine Barr and Trois Evechesnear Maxeville hill. A temple was built there and high mass performed with an oath to support the decrees of the National Assembly. Same was repeated at Metz. The National Guards intend to choose Mons. de Lafayette as Generalissimo.
