Thanks him for his generous present which he can only requite with venison "but being mindfull of the mocon' you made me concerning your sonn, whom I like soe well, give me leave to tender the offer of one of Sir John Davers [sic] daughters, that dwels at Culworth behinde Banbery, Theare bred, as he informes me, according unto your owne desire, And more than one thousand pound the knight cannot give in respect he hath many". Would be glad of the alliance but would not hinder Mr. Loggin's son's preferment.
