The firm of J. Pick & Sons was established by John Pick in 1856. Beginning in rented premises on Friday Street, Leicester the firm moved to factories in Paddock Street (1868), Wimbledon Street (1882) and finally the corner of Dover and Wellington Street (1913). The firm went into receivership in 1991. |
