Richard of Sureis to Sir William the Constable property all the service of 5ac. in Esthalsham, on either side of the town (i.e. 1½ac. from the courtyard of Richard son of the lord to the boundaries of Winisted and 1 ac. from (Robimar?) to the said boundaries of Wenysted: and, on the other side of the town, 1ac. from the courtyard of William le Wartor to the boundaries of Rossa and to the courtyard of Peter the outlaw ("Utlag'"); 1ac. stretching to the stream of Rossa; and ½ac. lying "ad viende" lately the land of Geoffrey son of Mariot) which Richard demised to Henry of Sprighaim for ½d. annual rent and forinsec service. Witn. Robert of Sanquintin, John of Risum, Stephen of Owatwyk, Henry of Esington, Henry of Bristwye, Geoffrey son of (Cranvat?) Thomas of Rossa.
