Deeds to Wormhill Farm alias Upper Wormhill Farm in the parish of Eaton Bishop and manor of the prebend of Cublington, also 35a. land in Madley and copyhold lands of the said manor. Wormhill Farm was the property of William Beale who enfeoffed John Green of Cliffords Inn, London, of his free lands and tenements in Eaton Bishop and manor of Cublington. Lands that Bede had earlier mortgaged to John Jenkynnes were also conveyed to Green who satisfied the mortgage debt. After a mortgage in 1621, John Green sold the property to Richard Hunt, who also purchased the 35a. in Madley from Thomas Jenninges of Clodock. Richard made several mortgages before selling Wormhill Farm and the Madley land to Mary Younger, wife of John Younger Snr., of Hereford, innholder, He also covenanted to surrender to the use of Mary Younger various copyhold properties purchased of Thomas Teague, Robert Lamman, Thomas Rogers and Mr. Greene.

Mary's grandson James Younger of Wormhill mortgaged the freehold estate to Henry Smyth of Hereford and the copyhold estate as further security and in 1688 the whole estate was conveyed to Henry outright. After further mortgages it was sold by the Smyth family to John Long of Madley in 1708, who also mortgaged this estate together with property in Lower Wormhill, lands in Madley, Goughs tenement and lands being heretofore parcel of the Marsh House in Eaton Bishop. After several assignments they were assigned to Elizabeth Witherston widow (except Goughs tenement and certain lands) to whom the equity of redemption was released in 1731/2.

Items include Beale family settlement 1585, certificate of repairs to Wormhill, schedules of deeds and papers and exemplification of a Chancery decree in 1630 re dispute between John Greene and Thomas Rogers about land in Over Wormhill in the manor of Cublington.
