1. Thomas Howorth of the Whitehouse, esq., and Mary his wife.

 

2. Hugh Pugh of Clodock, gent.

 

Consideration: £40.

 

"All that messuage or tenement of land commonly called ye Gilvagh" and parcels of pasture ground belonging and adjoining (4 acres) in Clodock together with those several other parcels of ground viz. one little meadow (2a.) and another little close (½a.) commonly called Croft y fae (3 acres) one other little meadow and a parcel of rough ground within the same (2 acres) one other close sometime divided with a hedge called priests moor (10 acres) in the parish of St. Margaretts, all now in the tenure of Thomas Harper. Allowing Thomas Howorth to cut and carry away what oak or ash he or they shall think fit, leaving upon the premises timber to build and repair and sufficient plowboot, hedgeboot and fireboot fitting for a tenement of £7 or £8 p.a. or else finding the same elsewhere upon the Whitehouse living in as convenient a place and as adjacent to the forementioned premises as may be found. For the life of Mary, wife of Thomas Howorth.
