Deeds to the copyhold and leasehold lands put together by David Lance esquire to form the Chessell House Estate in the Bishop of Winchester's Manor of Bitterne in the Parishes of St. Mary Extra (Peartree) and South Stoneham. (The Copies of Court Roll are all for the Manor of Bitterne, and the copyhold lands are all held "according to the custom of the Manor".)
