The records relate to the Bunney family of Portswood and Titchfield, mainly of three members - Peter Bunney, a builder at Portswood in the second half of the 19th century, his son Frederick Bunney, miller and farmer at Titchfield, and Walter Bunney, son of Frederick, also a miller. Titchfield Mill is no longer worked by this family.
