Defendant did not appear.

 

Complainant, Timothy Jones, labourer of Staunton, gave evidence that he heard the report of a gun and on investigation saw defendant on Worgan's land.

 

Fined £2, to be paid to John Morgan, an overseer of the poor, and 8/6 costs to the complainant. In default, of payment on demand to serve one calendar month in Littledean House of Correction.
