Description:

From 1 October 1968 the court registers of the divisions of Blandford Forum, Sturminster Newton and Wimborne Minster were amalgamated. Shaftesbury was included from 1 April 1973 though disappeared in the second quarter of 1974 when Christchurch was added. Shaftesbury was again included from July 1983 and disappeared again in 1985. The registers of the Wareham division were added from April 1984, and Gillingham registers from 1986. Register entries for Sturminster Newton cease in 1987.

 

Separate series of earlier records prior to 1968, 1973, 1974 and 1984 respectively will be found for each division under the appropriate place name.
