Bequests include:- to Bryan Wilson of Kendal, John Longmire of Redscar Underbarrow, James Bigland of Cartmelfell as trustees, all real estate in Cartmelfell, dalt of peatmoss near Dawsonfold Moss, Lyth, to sell and first pay all debts and those of son Bryan Philipson, deceased; then to pay following legacies - To nephews Zachary Hubbersty and John Hubbersty £20 each - To nephew and nieces, Robert, Anne, Margaret, Agnes children of brother Robert Hubbersty, £40 each - To niece Margaret Maskew, widow £20 - To Cartmelfell Chapel, £50 to be used to provide bread dole each Sunday Executors: Bryan Wilson, John Longmire, James Bigland Witnesses: Nelson Braithwaite, Ann Maitchell, Robt.
