William Carraggan and Margaret Carraggan indicted for possession of, and uttering counterfeit money. Margaret Carraggan pleaded guilty: both received six months' in Bodmin gaol, and bound over to be of good behaviour for further six months.

 

Following writ of mandamus issued by Court of King's Bench, appeal by Whitehaven, in St. Bees, Cumberland against order of 17 June last, for removal of William Anderson, Mary his wife, and their children. William (18), Robert (16), Mary (13), Margaret (10), Maria (8 ), Thomas (6), and Joseph (2), "neither of which children" [sic] had gained settlement in his/her own right, from Penryn: held over.
