Mary, wife of William Roberts; bound to appear at this sessions re charge of felony and convicted of taking ten faggots of furze, the property of John Thomas, esq., value 1d.: one month's hard labour. [Entry struck out.]

 

Five militia men (in custody for not attending the 28 days required by the Militia Act). This Court highly approves of their behaviour while in custody, in preventing the escape of several convicts, and saving the lives of turnkeys and others assisting them: five guineas to be paid to the militia men, as a reward, by the vice-treasurer, out of County Stock. This order to be hung up in different parts of the gaol as an encouragement to others in a like situation.

 

Recognizance of Jno Russell of Sithney, tinner, £40, Thomas Trelower and William Wear, both of Sithney, yeomen, £20 each, for John Russell to appear at next sessions.
