The Frodsham Savings Bank was established on 1 January 1822. In 1908, it merged with the Chester Savings Bank and became a branch office of the Chester, Wrexham and North Wales Trustee Savings Bank. By 1983, as a result of further mergers, the Frodsham Bank had become a branch of TSB England and Wales.
