This club was formed in 1898 at 31 Eastgate Street Row North in premises formerly occupied by the Church Club. In 1911 the club moved to new premises in St. Michael's Row off Bridge Street, where they remained until 1964, when due to the development of the Precinct, the club moved to 11 White Friars. The club was closed on 30 September 1970.
