Details of CSAC.65.3.79/G
Reference: CSAC.65.3.79/G
Title: CORRESPONDENCE G.1 - G.197
Description:

This Section is made up of material from more than one source. Most of the correspondence up to 1966 was kept by Weis-Fogh in loose-leaf binders in alphabetical order of correspondent. Later correspondence was not in any order when it arrived, and has been incorporated with the above.

The material in the main sequence (CSAC.65.3.79/G.1 - CSAC.65.3.79/G.149) is presented alphabetically, dated, and with an indication of the language(s) in which it is conducted. An indication of the content is sometimes given, but this has not always been possible, especially in the case of a heterogeneous exchange extending over a period of several years (see, e.g., A.C. Neville, G.80 - G.84, J.W.S. Pringle, CSAC.65.3.79/G.101 - CSAC.65.3.79/G.104, V.B. Wigglesworth, CSAC.65.3.79/G.144 - CSAC.65.3.79/G.145). The bulk of the correspondence is scientific in content, but it contains many personal and friendly references.

The names of all correspondents listed in the main sequence appear in the Index of Correspondents on pp. 108-120. Correspondence relating to lectures, conferences, specific research projects, etc., kept by Weis-Fogh with working notes and records, will be found in the relevant sections of the collection. (See especially Section F.) The Index of Correspondents should be consulted in order to trace correspondence by specific individuals in other parts of the collection.

The material is presented as follows:

G.150 - G.174 Correspondence with editors and publishers
