The Trevor (diplomatic) papers, and the Hobart (mainly political) papers, earlier and later series, the Goderich (political) papers, and Bishop Carr's Diary, are only listed under general headings. Note. For list of additional estate records, C.18-1931, deposited January 1973, ask for receipt schedule A.R.5/73 Executorship papers of the 6th Earl (d.1885), family settlements and mortgages, deeds, correspondence, vouchers, etc., for Bucks estate, and some for Irish estate. The (very few) manorial rolls belonging to this collection were deposited in the Bucks County Museum, Aylesbury which was the approved repository for such documents. Transferral to Record Office in 1987 as separate collection: Ref D/BASM See also D/X 656/1 Deads of main of Lt. Hampden Additional deposit: AR 62/92 not catalogued The Hobourn Collection in the Bedfordshire Record Office (ref. HN uncat) contains some records of the Hampden estate. These are 3 vols. of estate records and accounts, 1833-1882 (in HN uncat 142 & 175) with entries for Little Hampden and Ellesborough from 1844. |
