The church was founded in 1846, the foundation stone laid on 8 October 1847, opened for public worship on 4 July 1848 and closed c.1987. A history of the church, compiled in 1903, is in the first minute book (Z 771/1/1) and a centenary booklet was published in 1948 (Z 771/13/5). |
