Not all of Frank's extensive travel and attendance at conferences is documented in this section. Frank attended conferences held by a number of Societies and Organisations, most notably the International Organisation of Crystal Growth (NCUACS 15.8.89/F.116-NCUACS 15.8.89/F.175) and the Pugwash movement (NCUACS 15.8.89/F.205-NCUACS 15.8.89/F.250), and made a number of visits to South Africa in connection with his consultancy with De Beers (NCUACS 15.8.89/G.24-NCUACS 15.8.89/G.99). The presentation is chronological as far as possible. Material relating to invitations either declined or for which there is no evidence of acceptance is placed at the end of the sequence for each year. |
