VIMY 44A 36C: Edition 11A
It is difficult to see of a more evocative place-name from the Great War than Vimy Ridge. That was taken by the Allies in 1917, a year before the map was issued. It has trenches correct to 12 April and 8 May 1918. It is this edition where names almost as familier as Vimy itself are found. Souchez, Avion and Givenchy for example. Note the incredible number of mine craters and note too, Vesta Tilley Trench. Vesta was a famous music hall star who had a trench named after her.
P&p for trench-map only orders sent to addresses in the UK costs £0.50p, £1.50 to Europe and £2.00 for Rest of World addresses. Our standard postage rates will apply for combined orders of books and trench maps.
