Blue On Blue Volume I 1939-40
Aerial Friendly Fire in World War II & Associated Incidents
Date of publication: April 2011
Friendly fire is a cruel fact of life -and death- that occurs all too frequently in wartime. If only from the histroical perspective, these tragic incidents should be recorded to acknowledge the loss of so many fine men in such circumstances.
This is the first of five proposed volumes dealing with deaths by friendly fire during the Second World War and covers incidents 1939-1940 involving British, French, Polish, German and Neutral forces.
