Dickens's Women

This is a short book on a key and most controversial aspect of Dickens' personality. It is a colourful account of the half dozen most important women in Dickens' life. Each woman reflects a different aspect of Dickens' character and life.

There is some linking of real women with fictional ones eg Mary Beadnell with Dora Spenlow but the main purpose is to demoinstrate the importance of women in the life of this literary genius.
