Conveyance by Nicholas Lawes of a rent charge of £3 - 6s. - 8d. on his property in Compton Chamberlayne, in trust to be paid in alternate years a) to a poor maidservant, born in the parish who has continued longest at service and not detected or impeached for whoredom, b) to the churchwardens and overseers to buy bedding and clothing for the poorest people in the parish.
